Brittany M. Mennie
Brittany M. Mennie is a partner at Albarran & Mennie, P.C. Brittany grew up in Gurnee, Illinois and graduated from Warren Township High School. She received her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University.
While in law school, Brittany served as a legal extern for the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office and clerked for a general practice law firm where she worked on family law, divorce, and criminal law cases. Her academic accomplishments include receiving 4 awards for the highest grade in her criminal law, family law, research and writing, and torts (injuries) classes.
Upon passing the Illinois Bar Exam, Brittany worked as an attorney at a bankruptcy firm for a year where she filed over 100 bankruptcy cases for debtors before joining Albarran & Mennie, P.C.. Here at Albarran & Mennie, P.C., Brittany specializes in criminal (misdemeanors and felonies), DUI, and traffic defense, as well as family, divorce, child support and custody, and bankruptcy law.
Brittany personally meets with all of her clients, so she will know your case inside and out. She strives to make sure her clients feel comfortable discussing any and all issues with her.
